I've done everything from the clothes being stolen in the shower, the all-nighter with the essay for the best friend, and the milkshakes at the frat party whole mystery.
Now, all the hints give me is "Visit his dorm and talk about sex."
I've been visiting the dorm every night at 6pm and doing the talk about sex whenever it comes up. I've even been hanging out with the best friend everywhere.
I can't do dates or flirt with them, the best friend just tells me they don't feel that way about me.
I'm not in a relationship. The friendship and lust are at their maximum; romance is as far as I can progress it for now. But for the life of me, I can't get into a relationship with the best friend.
Do I just give it more time and see if something triggers or am I missing something? I probably did something wrong or am missing something but I am lost and don't know what to do.

A scene should trigger where they're watching mature videos (not sure what are the terms on language use on itch), you can ask to join them, and you end up watching videos together until you fall asleep. After you wake up a scene where you can talk about your relationship will happen. If it's not happening then it's either bad rng or a bug.
Ah ok. That's probably what happened because I did finish that plot. I'll start a new game and see if it's any better. Thank you very much! This has been driving me crazy trying to figure it out.

You have to finish the Quad Party questline to unlock the best friend romance. Keep going to the Quad Parties on Fridays and raise your Party Popularity.
I remember before that pregnancy is planned, with small features related to pregnancy slowly being added (like condoms). Is lactation next or in the near future?
I have a question related to the admirer character. I'm trying to date both him and the best friend, but since I want a polyamorous route with no jealousy, I used the cheat mode to give them both the "polyamorous" and "open relationships" traits. But when I try to make things official, he says that he's not ready for anything. Is it because of one of those traits ? The best friend was eager to start a more serious relationship, immediately asked for an open romantic relationship, and I have lower romance level with her than with the admirer (I maxed out the romance and every date milestones with him). Is it normal ? Should I just wait, do few more dates and try again ?

Because hermaphrodites isn't the right term, and having both totally accurate genitals is pretty much impossible. There's however indeed something rare called intersex, but it's way more complex than "having both genitals" or "having a mix of both", and can be unique to each intersex person. Also, hermaphrodite has been used as an insult towards intersex people.
This is the best explanation. We're not a fantasy game here, there's no transformation potions or magical creatures. There's been discussion about intersex before, but until we're sure we can add something respectfully we don't want to start adding it at all.
"Both sets of genitals" in a "herm" fashion is often a porn game fetish, along with stuff such as "futa" and the like. As we're trying to make a more realistic, grounded, and respectful game, we're not going to add something just because it's in all those other games. We let the fetishes be kinks, not people.

It's very likely! There's work being done on "secret" relationships with teachers and the like, and it'll probably come in updates that add in more consequences for your risky actions!
About dirty talking, is there "dirty talking skills" like any sex skills ? In my opinion it's kinda lame (and the "be more rough" option doesn't seem to affect dirty talking much.) To explain a bit better what I want, I'll say with all honesty (anyway all my friends accidentally found out about it, it's not telling a few internet stranger who's gonna embarass me) that I've got a little degrading kink...
Also I don't know if it's my game only but most of NPCs accidentally showing their bits, underwear or cleavage (like the pen dropping thing) only happens to girls except in the gym, kinda boring when you wanna make your character a bit gay

if your talking about entering a submissive relationship then just increase your compliance and go on a couple dates with them and at the end of said dates you should get asked again, or you can just offer to be their submissive by asking them to be in a relationship during conversations with them
Also, there should be a bar for either submission or dominance with the NPC if you look at their “profile”. Its color is black and can be raised fairly easily by choosing to flirt submissively. Sometimes it won’t be an option and that may be either because your compliance is too low, the person is not interested in you romantically or they do not have the personality traits that allows for you to become their submissive. Off the top of my head, these are the ones I know of:

Huh. Sounds like there are a lot of different mechanics going on behind the scenes that don't necessarily play well with each other. But it's hard to tell what is and isn't intended, since so much of it is hidden from the player.
But, I do know that hatefucks can become doms and remain doms even with high friendship. That may be because the relationship is suddenly flagged as romantic as soon as you submit to them even if you've never done anything romantic with them at all.
What’s also crazy to me is that even if you don’t go on an official date, if you interact with your sub/dom after the relationship change you receive the “officially dating” romance milestone lol. I do think sub/dom relationships should be marked as their own thing rather than romantic.
There's also a website called Utopia Euphoria which can be accessed from your phone or computer. And wild fantasy. But I don't it's available from the start tho.

You first want to play games with people in your Dorm lounge. When you lose/throw a match, they sometimes ask to make a bet for money - Make sure to say you can't afford it even if you can. You'll get some nice scenes, and throwing your alternate bet leads to learning more about arcade side bets.

are you playing in incognito mode? might have some setting on that clears cookies after a certain period of time regardless of if you closed the tab or not
Depending on the browser you're using, it could be automatically clearing the cache after you don't touch it for a certain amount of time, or there could just be a weird setting in your browser making it clear
For those who adjusted their localStorage to something more reasonable like the FAT16B limit (2 GB), will there be an option to increase the amount of NPCs?
I don't really like having an arbitrary preset limit, especially when colleges can have thousands of students.
its a really great and fun game but i dohave an issue. was playing the browser version of the game. i saves and closed my laptop like i have before. I went back on a moment ago and all my saves where gone. this didnt happen before over the past 3 days. just voicing an issue. love the game though. nicely detailed
These browser versions usually rely on some sort of cookie system. If your browser removes cookies, there isn't really much the game the game can do. If you insist on not downloading the game, I can only recommend you use the "save to file" feature every time you stop playing.

I'm wondering if there are any plans to make/join a band. Feels like a missing part of a collage setting to not have that as an option. But I can understand if it might be a technical nightmare to create so there are no plans to do so.
Just out of curiosity does the arcade denizen have a unique scenario for when you are dating them and ask to be a tournament prize? If not perhaps she/he should always be open or poly or refuse out of jealousy or perhaps join the tournament themself to "win" you.
Could we potentially get an outfit that is just various nude paint where you're completely naked with fake painted outfits so that you can freely go to class or walk around campus "naked".
That or have the ability to pay the college dean for a special "nudist" pass that allows you (and potentially other NPC's) the ability to walk campus, naked. Obviously you'd need exhibition high enough to get the options, but would be interesting to see.
Hmm, It would be nice to get a sort of constant guideline or tracker that keep you updated on the "main" storyline and whatever side stuff you have that you should do/accomplish, cause a lot of the stuff in game are kind of free-roam, and it can get pretty confusing especially for first time players that don't have any extensive experience with all the things you can do in-game.
Also, it's very easy to get distracted with doing a bunch of stuff and just forgetting some of them due to the "sandbox" nature of the game, though that might just be me lol.
I don't think there is a main storyline? If there is, I'm probably even more confused than you are, and I've played over 200 hours.
It's just a life sim. It happens to be on a college campus, but honestly, you can literally never go to class once and that's a perfectly valid way to play if you enjoy it more that way.
I don't think a constant guideline is needed - you can do whatever you want, that's literally the point. You can keep track of the storylines you're already participating in manually without too much issue, since all of that stuff is usually repeating something you've already done before.
Don't invalidate the new ones, and besides you are probably at most doing it the wrong way or do saved it at the last page 20 in last row or as 200th and saved it t h e r e if that's not commonly easy idk what would with only ask or talk, that's all since twine were the thing's mostly at fault and can't be helped not the dev of this COT.
Hi I am having a hard time increasing Plumpness of my character, or even preventing it from going down. Is there any mechanic that specific foods increase plumpness more or is it just a case of really overeating?
Basically just eat foods that make you gain weight overtime and don't do too much cardio or swimming. Depending on what build you want your PC to have you have to tailor your diet and exercise patterns to fit so in a sense if you really want that plump bar to increase and not decrease immediately after, eat all foods available in game that are liable to make you gain weight like pizza, cheeseburgers, hamburgers etc and watch how much cardio you do because it won't matter in the end if you just shred everything right after in the gym.I don't think strength exercises burn any fat in game so you could still do those. Just my two cents
Oh, that’s why my character’s plumpness kept going up lol! Thanks. I was wondering why my muscles were fairly high but my plumpness kept exceeding that, haha!
Ok, this was a significant problem for me as well. Here's what you do. First, NEVER let your food need drop below 51%. Second, when eating, pay attention to how many green arrows the food item has. That is an indication of how much it restores your food bar. As long as you are already at at least 51% full, any food that gives you more than you need will contribute to increased plumpness. The 'cheap & easy' option is always choose Cheeseburgers, they have the greatest addition per serving of any food in the game.
If, for some reason, you have allowed your food need to drop below 51%, first eat something that brings it back up above 51% before eating the item that takes it over full. If you are in one of the cafeterias, select multiple food items before 'finishing'.
Following these guidelines rigorously (particularly the 'never let your food need drop below 51%') will bring your plumpness back up. Note, 'never' means even while asleep, always make certain you are full or nearly full before going to sleep.
Edit: The final thing to be aware of, 2% is about the cap you will see for daily increase or decrease & that is only if you have gone to particularly extreme lengths. Regaining plumpness doesn't happen fast.

It might add more complexity to the code so it's probably going to be hard to develop without breaking what's already done.

I'm wondering if there are any plans to make/join a band. Feels like a missing part of a collage setting to not have that as an option. But I can understand if it might be a technical nightmare to create so there are no plans to do so.
Just out of curiosity does the arcade denizen have a unique scenario for when you are dating them and ask to be a tournament prize? If not perhaps she/he should always be open or poly or refuse out of jealousy or perhaps join the tournament themself to "win" you.
Could we potentially get an outfit that is just various nude paint where you're completely naked with fake painted outfits so that you can freely go to class or walk around campus "naked".
That or have the ability to pay the college dean for a special "nudist" pass that allows you (and potentially other NPC's) the ability to walk campus, naked. Obviously you'd need exhibition high enough to get the options, but would be interesting to see.

Hmm, It would be nice to get a sort of constant guideline or tracker that keep you updated on the "main" storyline and whatever side stuff you have that you should do/accomplish, cause a lot of the stuff in game are kind of free-roam, and it can get pretty confusing especially for first time players that don't have any extensive experience with all the things you can do in-game.
Also, it's very easy to get distracted with doing a bunch of stuff and just forgetting some of them due to the "sandbox" nature of the game, though that might just be me lol.
I don't think there is a main storyline? If there is, I'm probably even more confused than you are, and I've played over 200 hours.
It's just a life sim. It happens to be on a college campus, but honestly, you can literally never go to class once and that's a perfectly valid way to play if you enjoy it more that way.
I don't think a constant guideline is needed - you can do whatever you want, that's literally the point. You can keep track of the storylines you're already participating in manually without too much issue, since all of that stuff is usually repeating something you've already done before.
There's also the "Hints" button, which will keep you updated on available options.

That's why you either save to file or play the downloaded version. It's even stated that some browsers may wipe your data for no reason in game

Don't invalidate the new ones, and besides you are probably at most doing it the wrong way or do saved it at the last page 20 in last row or as 200th and saved it t h e r e if that's not commonly easy idk what would with only ask or talk, that's all since twine were the thing's mostly at fault and can't be helped not the dev of this COT.

Hi I am having a hard time increasing Plumpness of my character, or even preventing it from going down. Is there any mechanic that specific foods increase plumpness more or is it just a case of really overeating?
Basically just eat foods that make you gain weight overtime and don't do too much cardio or swimming. Depending on what build you want your PC to have you have to tailor your diet and exercise patterns to fit so in a sense if you really want that plump bar to increase and not decrease immediately after, eat all foods available in game that are liable to make you gain weight like pizza, cheeseburgers, hamburgers etc and watch how much cardio you do because it won't matter in the end if you just shred everything right after in the gym.I don't think strength exercises burn any fat in game so you could still do those. Just my two cents
Oh, that’s why my character’s plumpness kept going up lol! Thanks. I was wondering why my muscles were fairly high but my plumpness kept exceeding that, haha!
I'm pretty sure it's just eating things that increase your Food by more than is missing.
Ok, this was a significant problem for me as well. Here's what you do. First, NEVER let your food need drop below 51%.
Second, when eating, pay attention to how many green arrows the food item has. That is an indication of how much it restores your food bar. As long as you are already at at least 51% full, any food that gives you more than you need will contribute to increased plumpness. The 'cheap & easy' option is always choose Cheeseburgers, they have the greatest addition per serving of any food in the game.
If, for some reason, you have allowed your food need to drop below 51%, first eat something that brings it back up above 51% before eating the item that takes it over full. If you are in one of the cafeterias, select multiple food items before 'finishing'.
Following these guidelines rigorously (particularly the 'never let your food need drop below 51%') will bring your plumpness back up. Note, 'never' means even while asleep, always make certain you are full or nearly full before going to sleep.
Edit: The final thing to be aware of, 2% is about the cap you will see for daily increase or decrease & that is only if you have gone to particularly extreme lengths. Regaining plumpness doesn't happen fast.
