I love love love what you have done with this so far! Extremely addictive.
One minor thing I noticed: if you look at your partner during an encounter, their description lists what they were wearing at the start of the encounter rather than what they're wearing now. It would be nice to be able to read what your partner looks like naked - do they have body hair? Intimate tattoos or piercings?
Also if you have the Trichophilia inclination I've noticed it describes body hair for (cis) male genitals but not female during intimate encounters.
The recent update is great but it also broke saves on mobile version :( In my case this error appears for the first time when I get any of inclinations
I just recently discovered your game and I have to say, I'm usually not the biggest fan of text-based life-sim games but your game has really managed to hook me up and actually make me have fun.
I can see that it got a bit inspired by Degrees of Lewdity, but you just made it a heck of a lot better.
Writing is pretty good and actually has you engaged as to what is happening with the story and the life of the character.
Engagements with other characters also feel overall natural and grounded, artwork is also pretty good for me.
Aspects of management when it comes to work, school schedules, interactions with other characters so far seem pretty okay. World-events that can happen, so far, are pretty good too
I have to say though, the character skills tree is rather grindy and there are certain things like exhibitionism that are pretty hard to get. There's very little events that I could see thus far which give an increase in exhibitionism, which is a bit of a bummer if you want to ran an exhibitionist-like character, I have tried not using underwear as a start which in my mind should increase exhibitionism really but doesn't.. so I believe this aspect could be polished a little bit
But I think the rest is balanced and it's actually pretty close to how a real-life scenario would be like. You don't immediately say level up after doing a voyeuristic-natured event or disinhibition events, it's a repeated endeavor where each time you start shying away a little bit more from those and getting more daring, so I like it.
I obviously will replay it in due time and do different runs but so far I reeeeeeeeeeally am enjoying the route of the roommate's boyfriend.
Though I have to say, I think he could be polished a little bit in the sense of rate of appearences. So far I'm just mostly going over getting challenged (which I don't know if it will evolve into something else, I'm hoping that it does eventually) and it becomes pretty rare to interact with him (he's cisgender male in my current playthrough). You can very rarely trigger an event with him knocking on your door and doing one of the dares, or while you're showering.. I've heard you can also share a class with him (the Photography I class, which I'm actually doing) but I have never ever found him there.. and outside of those scenarios you can't really interact with him, in a normal manner so to speak. Can't hang out with him, can only send him selfies which increase his lust.. the rest, it's like you're dismissed pretty much
Also, I found it a bit odd that thus far you can't interact in any way with the roommate except for the very first couple of events with his boyfriend, which trigger hate towards you.. I am patiently waiting for the next upcoming updates to see how all of this is going to play out with these two characters in specific, meanwhile I'm just going to continue doing the dares and hoping it might get me somewhere hehe.
Oh, I was about to forget.. one thing I think would also be cool, going back to the artwork.. is getting artwork for the clothes you can buy in the shop. I personally am not the most familiar with some of the outfit choices there and it would be neat if we could have a preview of what we're buying.. in fact, DOL has a system where you can pretty much try clothes out (full outfits) in preview mode and you'll see how everything combines together.. I think this would actually be a pretty good addition for this game as well.
And another thing, I think the body types should be randomized a little bit more so we can have a wider variety of body types than we currently do. I have modified this in the world creator myself to have not as many muscly bodies as you do with the default values, but even then.. the amount of times I have seen toned type of bodies is very high.. plump type of bodies, skinny, thin, lean.. to mention some, are very very rare. The most common ones, besides toned, seem to be thick-bodied, and lithe.
I believe tweaking this a little bit so we can have a more varied array of body types would greatly benefit it. Same with types of breasts, penises, and height really.. the more varied the NPC's (even those we can get into a relationship with, like Paxton, the roommate's boyfriend, etc), the more unique they'll feel
Besides those, I am really impressed with this game thus far and I am really looking forward for the upcoming updates to see how everything develops. In the "little" development time that this game seems to have had (considering we seem to be pretty early on in development) it has managed to keep me much more engaged and looking forward to playing it than DOL has ever done.
I said I was going to do a longer comment with feedback, so here it is. And I'm sorry because it turned out longer than I expected.
I think I've played most of the text-based adult games out there (Fenoxo's games, The Company, Fool's Quest, AoF, Succubus Stories and so on) and while looking for something new I found this. I've played a lot in the last ~3 weeks and at this point I think it's already better than most of the text nsfw games I've seen. With constant updates and new content coming in, it will be at the absolute top. I love the storylines, some events feel a bit too repetitive but I understand it's still rather early version. I love that you've somehow managed to make the game loop not too grindy, even though it's pretty much just school life.
Now for my gripes, I'd like to start with two bugs:
Does pairing NPCs as roommates work properly? I think I got to someone's dorm and my BFF was presented as her roommate but it wasn't the same girl who is my BFF's roommate when I visit her. This is something I encountered early on (so I may not remember correctly).
EDIT: ok, I checked it with the save editor and here it is:
Arely Wilcox is Ashley Stout's roommate, but Arely's roommate is Stephany Greene. Seems like something that could cause problems.
This one is minor - I was able to invite someone to the CollegeCams stream even though I didn't have their contact details.
These two are pretty much the only bugs I've come across. There are a few other... inconsistencies though:
Some events and scenes could take into account your relationship with the person involved. Like walking past someone or betting in the lounge. Now it's the same scene whether it's a random person or someone you know well. When I lose a bet to someone I've sexed several times and I still get nervous when I have to flash them, it kind of breaks the immersion.
Learning about the likes and dislikes of NPCs is also a bit weird. Maybe it should be tied to friendship level or something because at this point I know all about random hook-up's preferences but nothing about my Best Friend's.
Could we get the option to throw the game in Master Blaster Arcade? Because when your video game skill is high, it's impossible to experience losing/punishment scenes.
When we play games in the lounge, we can _be challenged_, but we can't be the one challenging. And in the showers it's the other way around - we can approach someone using the shower but we can't get surprised by someone who is Slut/Forward. I feel like it would make sense for these interactions to be symmetrical.
And now a few things I'd like to see. Maybe they're already planned, or maybe they're not possible, so I'm writing them in the form of questions.
Will there be some kind of scoring system for intercourse? So based on actions taken, number of partner's orgasms and so on, sex would be rated. And that rating could affect the level of lust, be the subject of rumours, affect the popularity of the stream and maybe other things.
Are you going to make NPCs have sexual preferences? Like oral, vaginal, anal or different positions they like more than others. It would probably make more sense with something like the scoring system I mentioned above. It could make the sex "mini-games" more interesting and more personal, because now it's pretty much the same no matter who your partner is.
Will there be any random events for using the restroom?
Will it be possible to get caught by partner's roommate (or any other person for that matter)? Possibly leading to threesome if that person has right traits?
Will there be a glory hole in any of the restrooms? In River Rat perhaps.
Sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to get all my thoughts into one post. I will say it again - I absolutely love this game! Unfortunately, I can't support you right now, but I promise that as soon as I'm financially better, I'll support you on Patreon because you're doing an amazing job. Keep it up!

I couldn't reproduce the BFF roommate bug, but given you have an example right there, clearly it can happen. I put in a failsafe that would give Ashley Stout no roommate in that case.
CollegeCams bug: fixed
A lot of the inconsistency issues just require more writing and more branching paths, or perhaps require picking NPCs that better fit the tone of the event. Most of the events like this were some of the very first ever written, and I've been gradually going through and fixing them up as the tone of the game becomes more settled. For the lounge video game bets, as a quick fix I'll change it to prefer partners who better suit the awkward circumstances.
The Arcade needs another pass sometime — throwing games, yes, but also giving the player the other side of things, where sometimes it'll be the NPC who insists on rolling over to the next day instead of just paying out, or giving you the option to punish them.
I agree about giving the other side of some of these events — I intend to do that, it's just a matter of finding the right time to prioritize writing the new events.
I like the idea of a "sex scoring" system, something that affects their lust or your reputation as a lover.
There are inclinations for oral and anal preferences and some NPCs do have these. It's generally reflected in what they choose to do, though if the player takes the lead, there probably isn't much visible difference right now.
There are some random events in the restroom, but mostly pretty lowkey. There's an entry about them on the bounty board on the repo, so we'll certainly be adding more sooner or later.
Mid-encounter events (like somebody walking in on you) are something I really want to do at some point. Currently it requires refactoring some things before I can do it, but that's not insurmountable. I have several ideas where this would come in handy.
There are plans for a glory hole! At least one, probably in the porn shop. I think a contributor started writing some events for this so I'll have to see where they are with that.
Anyway, thanks again for your comment! This week I'm working on just misc polish things, so I might come back to this comment and address some more of these things sooner rather than later, but in the meantime, those bugs at least should be fixed for the next update.
There is one more issue I forgot to mention. Apparently, when you're riding someone's dick in cowgirl postion, you can penetrate them anally at the same time. It may be my poor imagination, but I think it would require some serious acrobatic skills. Or an exceptionally long dick ;D

Nothing in particular :) The random world seeds are from a pool of completely random words... I don't even remember how I generated it, lol. The seed just gives a starting point for world generation, so aside from the special seeds, it'll just change NPC's names and maybe swap genders (depending on your other settings)
You've got to wait for the scene where they are having sex during the night and listen in on them a few times. Eventually, the roommate's partner will walk in on you in the shower and the events should follow. It does take some time to happen.
This is a very well written and thought out game. I see why people compare it to DoL but I think they are focusing on the engine and mechanics and ignoring the fact this game has its own feel and writing style. FWIW I think there is definitely a niche for this and it is by far the best in this niche.
During the rumor event I got this line of error messages. I guess this happened because I'm playing as an asexual character who just didn't do anything rumor worthy. Is this gonna lead to any further bugs, or can I just ignore this and move on?

Freaking love this game so far, I love life-sims like this. Was wondering if any growth content is planned? We have the muscularity and plumpness system, how about height growth and genital growth? Maybe if you're a Bio or Chem major you can use the lab to create some growth potions. Just an idea.
Is there any way to somehow make the best friend path easier in future updates? I accidentally factory reset my laptop with my save file on it while switching into dev mode lol. Even in that file I had been playing for months irl (on and off) and in game I had (before I lost everything) felt like I really wasn't getting anywhere. It's all good if that's not possible. I LOVEE this game and don't even mind that I have to start from scratch due to my stupidity, just kind of wish I actually felt i knew i would be working towards something. Is there a time by which the quad party event should occur? If anyone has gotten the event when did it happen?? Just wanted to put this out there. Sorry if any of this came off as rude. :)
I seem to be stuck at either "continue attending quad parties" or "talk to Paxton about sex" and the first seems endless whereas the second I NEVER get the option once it tells me to do that in hints.
It's being made a little easier in today's update with some lower prereqs for some of the BFF events. For the quad party, it's just a matter of building party popularity, which can be helped along by some events but is also built up just by attending, so the "main event" will inevitably fire sooner or later.
Now that the game is progressing, I am thinking about alternate paths to change the relationship with the BFF, though I don't really have any specific ideas yet.
I love this game! One of the ideas for developing relationships: I think it would be cool to develop relationships into “boyfriend/girlfriend” in the future. After several dates, the guy asks the girl to date, the status changes, etc.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "all the pregnancy stuff", did you come from somewhere that said we had a lot of it? There's been some really weird descriptions and takes on the game coming from various sites lately XD
Long story short, there's no content so far, we're still feeling out how exactly we'd want to add content based around that kink, it's a big subject with a lot of logistics and consequences.

i usually use desgo to generate an image based on the in game description. tattoos and jewelry are always a bit finicky but otherwise it works pretty well.

Ah, ok. It's complaining about newer javascript syntax, I think... which a thing like a smart TV browser may not have updated recently enough to support, but we try to accommodate. If you've got the latest latest update (0.4.20) this one should be fixed. If not, please let me know!
So up till now I was playing on an older version of the game and I exported my saves to another folder but after I downloaded the new version I'm not able to import them.
I'm playing on the Android app version, when I try to load my old saves it just doesn't do it, like after I hit load the save doesn't show up in the list.
Ah. Well, exporting and importing just works by transferring the current gamestate, not everything in the save slots. To completely transfer something in a save slot the process would be 1) load it in the old game 2) export it 3) import the file into a new game 4) save to a save slot
So its basically a copy of Degrees od Lewdity, but with much lover risks and much less content. The main mechanics are taken from there, but with added need to pee and eat. Very original and unique, even has the same game engine👍

But I would say DoL is a game that is completely about a particular kind of fetish - being a victim. It's also full of some rather strong content, including bestiality and rape, that might not appeal to everyone.
CoT is based on a completely different concept - simply being a college student in a town that's a bit more.. sexually free than most xD The entire point of the game is to explore that situation, to learn and grow, to be who you want to be without restriction of gender or sexuality. It's a more realistic setting, a softer setting, and a much more hopeful and happier setting!
I could see why you could think the two games are "similar", they both are life sims written in Twine! But aside from that.. I'd say there are very vast differences!
We're not competing with DoL, dude XD We have no need to or any want to. We're a completely different vibe over here, and there's room for both games to exist! There's a LOT that CoT will do that DoL won't, and we know there's stuff DoL will have that CoT will never have, too! So choose whatever game you want, it's cool! There's a lot of crossover in the fandoms, and we hope that both games can grow to be better together!
Okay so like everyone else I've also became an addict. Great game and my praise to the developer for somehow making this game so fun even with repetitive tasks to simulate a college life. I would love to see more features and events as I've basically gone through all of them..

Probably not in the way you're thinking... we have some plans to maybe have a meta-style of sorts where NPCs can acknowledge if, for instance, you're dressing in feminine clothing while otherwise presenting as masculine, as well as giving player characters the option to reconsider their gender identity over time. But probably nothing where you're forced into it or berated for your choices, at least not in the near future.
I've found this game ~2 weeks ago and I might be a little bit addicted to it I absolutely love it! I'm going to put together longer comment with feedback, things I like and some minor bugs I've encountered.
But now I just wanted to ask - are watersports scenes already in the game? Or are they still to be added? Because I've spent at least 10 hours grinding all (supposedly) pee related scenes, I've visited every restroom like 50 times and shagged half a town in River Rat and I haven't encountered any watersports event.
maybe add a starting kink to character creation. like letting an experienced(Slut) character start with one extra kink. like some of the more basic ones so it's easier to build on them from earlier without just cheating in the inclinations you want (like i've been doing).

It's possible! Threesomes were added in 0.4, and while there's only a few of those scenes around, I'm keeping it in mind to add more as I write new content. Gangbang/orgy stuff is certainly possible, though some of it will need some further extensions to AI. But it'll come, sooner or later.
Fully custom NPCs are not yet possible, but I'll take it as a suggestion.

That's absolutely incorrect. Herms/Futas or "Hermaphrodites" are feminine bodied people who typically have both sets of genetalia. To a much broader extent, it just means any person that has both parts. Futanari is just the Japanese colloquial. This is different from being trans, and if it's being used as an "insult," it's more likely that the offender doesn't at all understand the difference. It's not derogatory, it's simply a descriptor.
It's quite annoying when it's framed like that. Same for "femboy", which are men that simply like to dress or appear as women. Literally just short for "feminine boys." They (commonly in media) aren't actually trying to be women and therefore aren't trans, and yet they are seen as such. People latched onto the word, "claimed it," and then saw it as offensive, which is so egregiously disappointing.

But they aren't true derogatory terms, I thought I clarified that. Intersex is a spectrum of varying ordinances. It can include hermaphrodites, but it isn't the only part of it. Hermaphrodites specifically have both functional male and female privates. And I'm not the one offended by reality, I think it's stupid to be insulted by a word that's almost entirely used for fictional purposes nowadays, otherwise to denote special circumstances of a person, which is an extremely rare case in the first place.
But in this case, it's not referring to intersex people, rather an actual hermaphrodite. It's specifically noting one situation and, especially here in erotica or +18 content, referring only to this phenomenon of gender. I'd actually put it in the same barrel as "gay" or "queer": terms that have been used as insults but also have actual non-insulting references to situations (though that's mostly just an opinion). So perhaps I should readjust my stance a bit: You are partially incorrect. If used correctly, it isn't derogatory.
(And to readjust your argument, for the sake of a future reply, the term (used in a nonfictional setting, (and in some cases including)) wouldn't be only referring to women. So instead, you should say "people" instead of just trans women. And I hope you aren't upset, I really just don't view it as a derogatory term since I've only seen it (at least in media) used in this specific application of gender.)

I know they're mainly their for camming purposes, but it would be cool if you could give the remote controlled vibrators/cocksleeves to your partner(s) to toy with or be toyed with if you hand over the controls.
We just have to rely on volunteer translations for now. At the moment, someone is translating it into Chinese, but that's the only translation project I know of.
Is there an actual main plot in the game? What is it about, besides the MC going to the college? Is about mafia stuff, or maybe some fantasy elements, or something else? Would be nice to know before diving in completely. Or is it just a pure simulation with tons of random events?
It is primarily a simulation with tons of random events, as detailed in the full description! Of course there are some plot lines to go down with some characters, such as the Best Friend - which are rather limited at this time - but other than that it is a pure simulation / sandbox!
However, I had an issue when updating from 0.4.12 to 0.4.18 on Android:
The app name changed from "Course of Temptation" to "CoT" (which is less awkward if someone checks your phone so it's a good change). Because of this, I suppose, it didn't replace the old app so both versions were installed. I promptly uninstalled the old version and realized too late that it wiped all my saves before I transferred them to the new version.
I tried reinstalling the old version and, fortunately, it somehow managed to find some saves that were created within the last 24h. Those were not my most recent saves so I'm confused where they came from, maybe some automatic backup on my phone. Anyway, I'm saved but that was close.
I'm sharing this in case it happens to someone else. Putting a warning somewhere to always backup your saves before updating might be useful too.

Edit to add: The APK version got a lot of attention with this update. Previously it was basically an experiment, now it's more of a proper app, so from now on updating should go more smoothly. But let us know if you experience any issues.
The update to 0.4.19 went smoothly. I hope the Android version keeps improving, the UI is usable but has room for improvement. Thanks to everybody working on the project, I thoroughly enjoy it!
Please. Update the beards. Either add beard options to the npc custom menu or remove npc beards entirely. My preferred partner now has mutton chops and I might have to break up with them over it. I love this game so much, but I also detest certain facial hair styles.
On laptop. Love this game, but this update seemed to break this. Just wanna say what others have, and might, be running into. Error messages saying "You may continue but some parts may not work properly". Hopefully that gets fixed sooner or later.
I actually ran into this message a few times. I had a few characters running, which previously wasn't an issue. I tried loading up them first, which is when I instantly got the message upon clicking "Load", which may have been on me for not exporting them. But I ran into the exact same "You may continue but some parts may not work properly" in the prologue after I deleted them, closed Itch, and reopened the game. The first instance was during character customization, then during best friend customization. I wouldn't know if the full game is affected, so unfortunately I can't help you there, as I can't really get past the prologue. Hopefully this helps.
Thanks! I think it's something unique to the itch app and any browsers that haven't been updated recently. I revised some code and did a stealth reupload... so, same version number, but redownloading might fix your issue.
I really like this game from what I've played so far. I have one feature request. I'd like to be able to add notes to npcs, as well as possibly "temporary names"(nicknames), so that when I repeatedly interact with NPCs i don't know the name of, I can keep track of the interactions!
Does anyone else keep crashing? It was completely fine yesterday but now when I play, I only get like 10 minutes to play before it crashes + can't load one of my save files when the other one with a different character is fine? I'm playing in browser on android

Just curious, is your best friend a possible romance option? I've gotten both their lust and romance bars pretty high but they reject every time I try to make a move.
They are, but it is tied to a specific event path. There is a box marked Hints in your sidebar. One of the hints is regarding that very thing. It's titled 'The Best Friend'. Follow it's recommendations & you will get there.

Mesh/transparent clothes are highly requested, once we get a good transparency system in for clothing we'll definitely add some!

Aspects of management when it comes to work, school schedules, interactions with other characters so far seem pretty okay. World-events that can happen, so far, are pretty good too
I have to say though, the character skills tree is rather grindy and there are certain things like exhibitionism that are pretty hard to get. There's very little events that I could see thus far which give an increase in exhibitionism, which is a bit of a bummer if you want to ran an exhibitionist-like character, I have tried not using underwear as a start which in my mind should increase exhibitionism really but doesn't.. so I believe this aspect could be polished a little bit
But I think the rest is balanced and it's actually pretty close to how a real-life scenario would be like. You don't immediately say level up after doing a voyeuristic-natured event or disinhibition events, it's a repeated endeavor where each time you start shying away a little bit more from those and getting more daring, so I like it.
I obviously will replay it in due time and do different runs but so far I reeeeeeeeeeally am enjoying the route of the roommate's boyfriend.
Though I have to say, I think he could be polished a little bit in the sense of rate of appearences. So far I'm just mostly going over getting challenged (which I don't know if it will evolve into something else, I'm hoping that it does eventually) and it becomes pretty rare to interact with him (he's cisgender male in my current playthrough). You can very rarely trigger an event with him knocking on your door and doing one of the dares, or while you're showering.. I've heard you can also share a class with him (the Photography I class, which I'm actually doing) but I have never ever found him there.. and outside of those scenarios you can't really interact with him, in a normal manner so to speak. Can't hang out with him, can only send him selfies which increase his lust.. the rest, it's like you're dismissed pretty much
Also, I found it a bit odd that thus far you can't interact in any way with the roommate except for the very first couple of events with his boyfriend, which trigger hate towards you.. I am patiently waiting for the next upcoming updates to see how all of this is going to play out with these two characters in specific, meanwhile I'm just going to continue doing the dares and hoping it might get me somewhere hehe.
Oh, I was about to forget.. one thing I think would also be cool, going back to the artwork.. is getting artwork for the clothes you can buy in the shop. I personally am not the most familiar with some of the outfit choices there and it would be neat if we could have a preview of what we're buying.. in fact, DOL has a system where you can pretty much try clothes out (full outfits) in preview mode and you'll see how everything combines together.. I think this would actually be a pretty good addition for this game as well.
And another thing, I think the body types should be randomized a little bit more so we can have a wider variety of body types than we currently do. I have modified this in the world creator myself to have not as many muscly bodies as you do with the default values, but even then.. the amount of times I have seen toned type of bodies is very high.. plump type of bodies, skinny, thin, lean.. to mention some, are very very rare. The most common ones, besides toned, seem to be thick-bodied, and lithe.
I believe tweaking this a little bit so we can have a more varied array of body types would greatly benefit it. Same with types of breasts, penises, and height really.. the more varied the NPC's (even those we can get into a relationship with, like Paxton, the roommate's boyfriend, etc), the more unique they'll feel
Besides those, I am really impressed with this game thus far and I am really looking forward for the upcoming updates to see how everything develops. In the "little" development time that this game seems to have had (considering we seem to be pretty early on in development) it has managed to keep me much more engaged and looking forward to playing it than DOL has ever done.

I said I was going to do a longer comment with feedback, so here it is. And I'm sorry because it turned out longer than I expected.
I think I've played most of the text-based adult games out there (Fenoxo's games, The Company, Fool's Quest, AoF, Succubus Stories and so on) and while looking for something new I found this. I've played a lot in the last ~3 weeks and at this point I think it's already better than most of the text nsfw games I've seen. With constant updates and new content coming in, it will be at the absolute top. I love the storylines, some events feel a bit too repetitive but I understand it's still rather early version. I love that you've somehow managed to make the game loop not too grindy, even though it's pretty much just school life.
Now for my gripes, I'd like to start with two bugs:

I couldn't reproduce the BFF roommate bug, but given you have an example right there, clearly it can happen. I put in a failsafe that would give Ashley Stout no roommate in that case.
CollegeCams bug: fixed
A lot of the inconsistency issues just require more writing and more branching paths, or perhaps require picking NPCs that better fit the tone of the event. Most of the events like this were some of the very first ever written, and I've been gradually going through and fixing them up as the tone of the game becomes more settled. For the lounge video game bets, as a quick fix I'll change it to prefer partners who better suit the awkward circumstances.
The Arcade needs another pass sometime — throwing games, yes, but also giving the player the other side of things, where sometimes it'll be the NPC who insists on rolling over to the next day instead of just paying out, or giving you the option to punish them.
I agree about giving the other side of some of these events — I intend to do that, it's just a matter of finding the right time to prioritize writing the new events.
I like the idea of a "sex scoring" system, something that affects their lust or your reputation as a lover.
There are inclinations for oral and anal preferences and some NPCs do have these. It's generally reflected in what they choose to do, though if the player takes the lead, there probably isn't much visible difference right now.
There are some random events in the restroom, but mostly pretty lowkey. There's an entry about them on the bounty board on the repo, so we'll certainly be adding more sooner or later.
Mid-encounter events (like somebody walking in on you) are something I really want to do at some point. Currently it requires refactoring some things before I can do it, but that's not insurmountable. I have several ideas where this would come in handy.
There are plans for a glory hole! At least one, probably in the porn shop. I think a contributor started writing some events for this so I'll have to see where they are with that.
Anyway, thanks again for your comment! This week I'm working on just misc polish things, so I might come back to this comment and address some more of these things sooner rather than later, but in the meantime, those bugs at least should be fixed for the next update.

There is one more issue I forgot to mention. Apparently, when you're riding someone's dick in cowgirl postion, you can penetrate them anally at the same time. It may be my poor imagination, but I think it would require some serious acrobatic skills. Or an exceptionally long dick ;D

What do the world seeds "virus", "importance" and "wealthy" mean? I was generating random ones and those three came up and virus kinda scared me lol
Nothing in particular :) The random world seeds are from a pool of completely random words... I don't even remember how I generated it, lol. The seed just gives a starting point for world generation, so aside from the special seeds, it'll just change NPC's names and maybe swap genders (depending on your other settings)

You've got to wait for the scene where they are having sex during the night and listen in on them a few times. Eventually, the roommate's partner will walk in on you in the shower and the events should follow. It does take some time to happen.

This is a very well written and thought out game. I see why people compare it to DoL but I think they are focusing on the engine and mechanics and ignoring the fact this game has its own feel and writing style. FWIW I think there is definitely a niche for this and it is by far the best in this niche.

Freaking love this game so far, I love life-sims like this. Was wondering if any growth content is planned? We have the muscularity and plumpness system, how about height growth and genital growth? Maybe if you're a Bio or Chem major you can use the lab to create some growth potions. Just an idea.
Is there any way to somehow make the best friend path easier in future updates? I accidentally factory reset my laptop with my save file on it while switching into dev mode lol. Even in that file I had been playing for months irl (on and off) and in game I had (before I lost everything) felt like I really wasn't getting anywhere. It's all good if that's not possible. I LOVEE this game and don't even mind that I have to start from scratch due to my stupidity, just kind of wish I actually felt i knew i would be working towards something. Is there a time by which the quad party event should occur? If anyone has gotten the event when did it happen?? Just wanted to put this out there. Sorry if any of this came off as rude. :)
I seem to be stuck at either "continue attending quad parties" or "talk to Paxton about sex" and the first seems endless whereas the second I NEVER get the option once it tells me to do that in hints.
It's being made a little easier in today's update with some lower prereqs for some of the BFF events. For the quad party, it's just a matter of building party popularity, which can be helped along by some events but is also built up just by attending, so the "main event" will inevitably fire sooner or later.
Now that the game is progressing, I am thinking about alternate paths to change the relationship with the BFF, though I don't really have any specific ideas yet.
I love this game! One of the ideas for developing relationships: I think it would be cool to develop relationships into “boyfriend/girlfriend” in the future. After several dates, the guy asks the girl to date, the status changes, etc.

Long story short, there's no content so far, we're still feeling out how exactly we'd want to add content based around that kink, it's a big subject with a lot of logistics and consequences.

i usually use desgo to generate an image based on the in game description. tattoos and jewelry are always a bit finicky but otherwise it works pretty well.

So up till now I was playing on an older version of the game and I exported my saves to another folder but after I downloaded the new version I'm not able to import them.

I'm playing on the Android app version, when I try to load my old saves it just doesn't do it, like after I hit load the save doesn't show up in the list.
Ah. Well, exporting and importing just works by transferring the current gamestate, not everything in the save slots. To completely transfer something in a save slot the process would be 1) load it in the old game 2) export it 3) import the file into a new game 4) save to a save slot
So its basically a copy of Degrees od Lewdity, but with much lover risks and much less content. The main mechanics are taken from there, but with added need to pee and eat. Very original and unique, even has the same game engine👍

But I would say DoL is a game that is completely about a particular kind of fetish - being a victim. It's also full of some rather strong content, including bestiality and rape, that might not appeal to everyone.
CoT is based on a completely different concept - simply being a college student in a town that's a bit more.. sexually free than most xD The entire point of the game is to explore that situation, to learn and grow, to be who you want to be without restriction of gender or sexuality. It's a more realistic setting, a softer setting, and a much more hopeful and happier setting!
I could see why you could think the two games are "similar", they both are life sims written in Twine! But aside from that.. I'd say there are very vast differences!
We're not competing with DoL, dude XD We have no need to or any want to. We're a completely different vibe over here, and there's room for both games to exist! There's a LOT that CoT will do that DoL won't, and we know there's stuff DoL will have that CoT will never have, too! So choose whatever game you want, it's cool! There's a lot of crossover in the fandoms, and we hope that both games can grow to be better together!
Okay so like everyone else I've also became an addict. Great game and my praise to the developer for somehow making this game so fun even with repetitive tasks to simulate a college life. I would love to see more features and events as I've basically gone through all of them..

Probably not in the way you're thinking... we have some plans to maybe have a meta-style of sorts where NPCs can acknowledge if, for instance, you're dressing in feminine clothing while otherwise presenting as masculine, as well as giving player characters the option to reconsider their gender identity over time. But probably nothing where you're forced into it or berated for your choices, at least not in the near future.

I might be a little bit addicted to itI absolutely love it! I'm going to put together longer comment with feedback, things I like and some minor bugs I've encountered.But now I just wanted to ask - are watersports scenes already in the game? Or are they still to be added? Because I've spent at least 10 hours grinding all (supposedly) pee related scenes, I've visited every restroom like 50 times and shagged half a town in River Rat and I haven't encountered any watersports event.

They exist! A couple of scenes with it, and it can come up in random encounters too... though I'm beginning to suspect that may be a bit too rare.
maybe add a starting kink to character creation. like letting an experienced(Slut) character start with one extra kink. like some of the more basic ones so it's easier to build on them from earlier without just cheating in the inclinations you want (like i've been doing).

It's possible! Threesomes were added in 0.4, and while there's only a few of those scenes around, I'm keeping it in mind to add more as I write new content. Gangbang/orgy stuff is certainly possible, though some of it will need some further extensions to AI. But it'll come, sooner or later.
Fully custom NPCs are not yet possible, but I'll take it as a suggestion.

That's absolutely incorrect. Herms/Futas or "Hermaphrodites" are feminine bodied people who typically have both sets of genetalia. To a much broader extent, it just means any person that has both parts. Futanari is just the Japanese colloquial. This is different from being trans, and if it's being used as an "insult," it's more likely that the offender doesn't at all understand the difference. It's not derogatory, it's simply a descriptor.
It's quite annoying when it's framed like that. Same for "femboy", which are men that simply like to dress or appear as women. Literally just short for "feminine boys." They (commonly in media) aren't actually trying to be women and therefore aren't trans, and yet they are seen as such. People latched onto the word, "claimed it," and then saw it as offensive, which is so egregiously disappointing.

It is primarily a simulation with tons of random events, as detailed in the full description! Of course there are some plot lines to go down with some characters, such as the Best Friend - which are rather limited at this time - but other than that it is a pure simulation / sandbox!

However, I had an issue when updating from 0.4.12 to 0.4.18 on Android:
The app name changed from "Course of Temptation" to "CoT" (which is less awkward if someone checks your phone so it's a good change). Because of this, I suppose, it didn't replace the old app so both versions were installed. I promptly uninstalled the old version and realized too late that it wiped all my saves before I transferred them to the new version.
I tried reinstalling the old version and, fortunately, it somehow managed to find some saves that were created within the last 24h. Those were not my most recent saves so I'm confused where they came from, maybe some automatic backup on my phone. Anyway, I'm saved but that was close.
I'm sharing this in case it happens to someone else. Putting a warning somewhere to always backup your saves before updating might be useful too.

Please. Update the beards. Either add beard options to the npc custom menu or remove npc beards entirely. My preferred partner now has mutton chops and I might have to break up with them over it. I love this game so much, but I also detest certain facial hair styles.
You can banish the mutton chops in the next update, probably on Friday.
On laptop. Love this game, but this update seemed to break this. Just wanna say what others have, and might, be running into. Error messages saying "You may continue but some parts may not work properly". Hopefully that gets fixed sooner or later.

I actually ran into this message a few times. I had a few characters running, which previously wasn't an issue. I tried loading up them first, which is when I instantly got the message upon clicking "Load", which may have been on me for not exporting them. But I ran into the exact same "You may continue but some parts may not work properly" in the prologue after I deleted them, closed Itch, and reopened the game. The first instance was during character customization, then during best friend customization. I wouldn't know if the full game is affected, so unfortunately I can't help you there, as I can't really get past the prologue. Hopefully this helps.
Thanks! I think it's something unique to the itch app and any browsers that haven't been updated recently. I revised some code and did a stealth reupload... so, same version number, but redownloading might fix your issue.
I really like this game from what I've played so far. I have one feature request. I'd like to be able to add notes to npcs, as well as possibly "temporary names"(nicknames), so that when I repeatedly interact with NPCs i don't know the name of, I can keep track of the interactions!

Just curious, is your best friend a possible romance option? I've gotten both their lust and romance bars pretty high but they reject every time I try to make a move.
They are, but it is tied to a specific event path. There is a box marked Hints in your sidebar. One of the hints is regarding that very thing. It's titled 'The Best Friend'. Follow it's recommendations & you will get there.
