Also it would be really interesting if we can style their clothes by ourselves! It would be really interesting to have and i would very much like to style people especially our partners, at least to their taste in clothing🥺

Extremely disappointing how softcore the game is now. Basing a game on a non-con game and then taking out all non-con is WILD.
To be clear, the dev has every right to handle their game however they choose. But it was based on a much darker game and now acting like dark content is icky, which is weird af. Even if you play with the non-con settings on, there is no longer any of that content in the game. Bizarre. They need to be more upfront about that content no longer being an option instead of misleading people.
Also, beware of the fans of this game. If you even ask questions in the Discord about this missing content, you will be treated like trash.

Using the dangerzone seed used to lead to several types of forced encounters (in the public restroom at the plaza, in the laundry machines, on dates/during hookups, etc.) Now they still have the dangerzone seed but removed all actual "danger." And when I was asked about it, to see if it was a bug, I was told that the game is "going in a new direction" and that content was removed, and had a few people jump down my throat for expressing confusion about it.

If they wanted to put a seed that is literally intended to have non-con(literally shown by the NAME itself and the description of the seed's content)in it they shouldn't have removed the content and just made a new damn seed or even removed the seed completely from the list. The game is trying to be patreon compliant, and patreon is very explicit about there not being any non-con or dubious-con elements in games that are on the platform. This is the major reason why you see the game going in a different direction.

Although the game uses the same basic programming language as DoL (Twine), it isn't based on DoL in any way. The code is original, we're not "softcore modded DoL" as CoT is occasionally called on some forums.
I'll fully admit that several years ago, when the game was first released, there were some filler events as the game struggled to find footing. As the game has grown, however, it was found the tone that we felt best fit both the setting and the audience. What started as merely another adult text-based game has become something that I'm glad to see is inclusive, accepting, fun, and light-hearted.
CoT may be "the college party movie game" or whatever, but a lot of those movies are.. quite troublesome these days, full of sexism, assault, and jokes about sexuality and trans people that are honestly, very offensive. Over time, that vibe was considered, and eventually rejected in favor of something better.
I understand your disappointment. But this is the direction the game is going now, and that's not changing. "dangerzone" was always just a special seed, a modification to NPC traits and aspects. It doesn't change the essence of what the game *is*, no seed will do that.
I know that there's a lot of crossover between DoL and CoT players. Hell, some of our Contributors wrote mods or code for DoL, and some still do! But we're not competing with that game, and I firmly believe people can enjoy both for their specific vibes and settings.
Also, as someone who saw the interactions in the Discord, I'm sorry that you felt like you were "treated like trash". I have the receipts, and the harshest thing someone said to you was "You want DoL gameplay, go play DoL" which is, well, just true? As I've laid out above, CoT is not DoL, and that's.. just the way things are. But people can enjoy both, you know?
Glad you were able to give a clear viewpoint about what was going on. After thinking about it again it made sense, as it IS an adult college life text-based game kind of like a simulation.
As someone who plays both DoL and CoT, i get the influence of the former for the latter and i enjoyed it honestly(I actually enjoyed the dating and clothing mechanics here so much that i always comes back for the relationships and fashion choices that the game provide❤️). But one game has more a more dark fantasy/theme, combat and heavy lore vibe on it and the other as you say it is light-hearted, accepting and inclusive. Thus now i understand and respect the decision to erase the said content on the dangerzone seed. And i need to agree that there's still plenty games with non-con aspects if they want one like Lilith's Throne, DoL, TiTs, or BDCC.

I mean, to be clear, we didn't erase content on the seed, we just removed some small content altogether (quite some time ago) and changed a few other bits. The special seeds in CoT do nothing more than change some personality traits of NPCs. They don't add or remove content, they just make content that's already there more or less likely to occur.
The seeds are not "add this content, remove this kink", that's all in the settings already, and even that can be set to "Warn" instead of "Block".
"dangerzone" was NEVER meant to be a "DoL simulator" or "the way the game was originally" or anything like that, and I'm not sure why people think that?
I think this is the only smut game I've ever played which has allowed me to really dig into my orientation play kink. It's a real joy to have the freedom to play as a character with a specific sexuality and then let yourself be swayed, tempted and seduced.
Also the NPCs are just a little bit flexible too, so you as the player can do the exact same thing to them if you're willing to be patient and really work at bending your straight friends and/or straightening your queer pals. It's really great.
I wish the Classroom Harasser and Roommate partner's storylines could be more "cleanly" resolved, without leftover stuff from when they were actively harassing you. Since d/s in their routes is catering to players with humiliation/abuse kinks, I don't want to do submission routes with either of them. At least the partner leaves you alone if you refuse him enough. The harasser continues to tell people that you sell oral for 5 bucks even if he becomes your sub, and his general behaviour doesn't change at all. The hints section will still remind you to go visit them in the media lab, as if the story isn't finished yet. The roommate's partner will refuse any hangouts and won't give you their number - in the meanest way possible, even if they are generally friendly towards you. It's both inconsistent and confusing.
Is there a way to get some more bondage stuff? So far I've only found the library basement and a random encounter with a hate fuck that repeats from time to time. Would be nice to have your master/misstress do something like that
It's a booty call. Haven't paid any attention as to where my character was at that point, it only happened twice so far so I haven't noticed any pattern. Was the exact same scene though
You can have a partner with the "Cheater" inclination but as far as i know that inclination only affects npcs who are already in a relationship, allowing you to sleep with them anyway. Ive played a tonne and i havent had a scene where ive been cheated on so i think youre good but others might know something i dont

When you had sex with partner and choose to go for another round, you begin completely dressed even if you undressed during sex. Partner begins in the state which was when you finished
How about adding birth control pills to the pharmacy since I see Npc's like older woman and teachers using them but when I play as a women I never see them and have to use condoms unless its apart of the pregnancy update. If you wanted you could add quailty pills that could last a day, 3 days a week and two weeks. And to check how much days you have with the pill, maybe on the remind app?

What's amusing is how easy that bug was to test, just one quick run with "bisexual" set as low as it could go in world gen and the game still popped 525 bisexual characters. It was like WELP I GUESS WE DON'T HAVE TO HUNT DOWN THAT BUG

Going for a submissive play-through is getting quite annoying, dominant npcs seem to just want a fellatio 101% of the time, had oral at level 10 before any other sexual skill got to level 4, wish npcs had more varieties, more preferences, unless i got unlucky enough to spawn in the dick-sucking seed that makes everyone just want head
This is why I never go dominant npc's or even some of the submissive ones. It's kind of a pattern I noticed too,also what world seed did you use. Was it a random one or one of the special seeds

You can't break them up because they aren't random NPC's but special characters with a storyline if you are either on the football or cheerleader path as those two activities naturally converge.You can do the deed with either of them but breaking them up is out of the question unless some new storyline tied to the football or cheerleader event allows you to do so

I downloaded the zip folder from the link at the top of the page, extracted (or ‘uncompressed’ because apple has to be special) the folder and opened the HTML file but nothing happens, has anyone else got this on iPad (can we use it on ipad or is it only desktop and mobile)? I'd love to see more gay content with the football team and the quarterback, and some more in depth story lines in general with certain special role characters maybe a few new ones !! It's a great game with a lot of potentail btw!!
I've only ever completed the bff storyline using the shower option so let me explain. From what I've seen the timeline of events go like this.
1) On the first day of school talk about sex with then to open up the storyline
2)The party invite comes second week and the event in which you get your clothes stolen happens a week later which is the third week of the first month of school. After this on the call for a favor route the BFF will eventually ask you for help in completing a class assignment which you opens up that part of the storyline.
3) Provided you haven't gotten together with any NPC the event for help on the assignment should trigger a week after ONLY when you're approaching your dorm room late at night. This must happen specifically so at any time of that week walk up and down and roam around your dorm at late hours and the BFF should ask for help which you obviously accept.
4) After helping them out with the assignment fall asleep in their bed and don't leave their room afterwards and you should get two choices one of which will allow to start feeling new things for the BFF which moves things forward on that path.
And that's pretty much it. Every time after this visit their dorm every day of the week and talk about sex every time the prompt appears till yet another event fires off where you fall asleep in the BFF's room with them on their bed and depending on what you do both of you end up smashing. From there the BFF takes you out into the hall and asks you to define the relationship you want to have with them which varies from an exclusive relationship,an open relationship,a poly relationship or less romantically implied ones like friends with benefits. Your choice and the storyline ends. This is specifically for the shower/asking for a favor route as it's the route that is most convenient for me every time I do their storyline.
Also make sure your disinhibition is raised to at least level two to get that scene of where you fall asleep in their bed while watching porn. It kind of speeds up the process and sex talks with them;for the milkshake route I have no idea mostly because I always play as a guy and the shakes aren't really for guys to consume unless you just snag them for yourself
1. Go to the Friday parties around the 4th to 6th time you go to the party. Someone will jokingly talk to you about the secret of the milkshakes. Which will give you the quest to investigate it.
2. If investigated you will find out what the secret ingredient is. To which you can then tell your BFF. Then you both of you will go back to investigate. Which will end up with you caught. By a rich kid that will give you money to stay quiet.
4. You get the option to snitch and make a lot of enemies, or stay quiet. If you choose to stay quiet you and your BFF will have to add the special ingredient yourselves while being recorded. Which will go one of two ways.
5. Either you'll stand next to each other and handle your business making two milkshake. Or one of you will have to help the other handle their business, and then drink the milkshake on camera.
6. Afterwords you have to go to your BFFs room in the evening. Eventually you'll get the watch corn prompt. Which will end with you sleeping in their bed. You'll wake up feeling really hot and bothered. So will your BFF....
7. Afterwords you'll leave the room with your BFF following to talk about your relationship. Pick the relationship you want with them.
I suggest you go this route if you want/need money. Because if you agree to stay silent you'll get $400. You can still do this quest even if you're already in a relationship with your BFF. It's free money or you could go the snitch route. If you're a masochist who wants to be bullied, extorted, and/or forced into doing favors.
He was kicked out from the game's discord channel for some reason and some people still have grudge against him for some reason and downvote his comments every time they see them. (At least, that's how I see it as someone who's not in the game's discord)
oh well im sure their was a good reason for him to get kicked from the discord, im not in there either but the people running this game seem responsible so i doubt he wouldve been banned without good reason
Will the "drug" system be improved in the future? I've met a few characters with the 'stoner' personality traits but so far I've only found one way to acquire weed and it's through people at the park, I don't know if there's more or maybe it's tied to the gardening system

You can't break them up because they aren't random NPC's but special characters with a storyline if you are either on the football or cheerleader path as those two activities naturally converge.You can do the deed with either of them but breaking them up is out of the question unless some new storyline tied to the football or cheerleader event allows you to do so

I downloaded the zip folder from the link at the top of the page, extracted (or ‘uncompressed’ because apple has to be special) the folder and opened the HTML file but nothing happens, has anyone else got this on iPad (can we use it on ipad or is it only desktop and mobile)? you can just play in browser just make sure to export your save before you close the app also import said save whenever you want to play it again

you can lower the amount of trans people in the world generation section before starting a new playthrough. you could also just avoid them and click the back arrow if you accidentally initiate sex with one.

I've only ever completed the bff storyline using the shower option so let me explain. From what I've seen the timeline of events go like this.
1) On the first day of school talk about sex with then to open up the storyline
2)The party invite comes second week and the event in which you get your clothes stolen happens a week later which is the third week of the first month of school. After this on the call for a favor route the BFF will eventually ask you for help in completing a class assignment which you opens up that part of the storyline.
3) Provided you haven't gotten together with any NPC the event for help on the assignment should trigger a week after ONLY when you're approaching your dorm room late at night. This must happen specifically so at any time of that week walk up and down and roam around your dorm at late hours and the BFF should ask for help which you obviously accept.
4) After helping them out with the assignment fall asleep in their bed and don't leave their room afterwards and you should get two choices one of which will allow to start feeling new things for the BFF which moves things forward on that path.
And that's pretty much it. Every time after this visit their dorm every day of the week and talk about sex every time the prompt appears till yet another event fires off where you fall asleep in the BFF's room with them on their bed and depending on what you do both of you end up smashing. From there the BFF takes you out into the hall and asks you to define the relationship you want to have with them which varies from an exclusive relationship,an open relationship,a poly relationship or less romantically implied ones like friends with benefits. Your choice and the storyline ends. This is specifically for the shower/asking for a favor route as it's the route that is most convenient for me every time I do their storyline.
Also make sure your disinhibition is raised to at least level two to get that scene of where you fall asleep in their bed while watching porn. It kind of speeds up the process and sex talks with them;for the milkshake route I have no idea mostly because I always play as a guy and the shakes aren't really for guys to consume unless you just snag them for yourself
For the milkshake route.
1. Go to the Friday parties around the 4th to 6th time you go to the party. Someone will jokingly talk to you about the secret of the milkshakes. Which will give you the quest to investigate it.
2. If investigated you will find out what the secret ingredient is. To which you can then tell your BFF. Then you both of you will go back to investigate. Which will end up with you caught. By a rich kid that will give you money to stay quiet.
4. You get the option to snitch and make a lot of enemies, or stay quiet. If you choose to stay quiet you and your BFF will have to add the special ingredient yourselves while being recorded. Which will go one of two ways.
5. Either you'll stand next to each other and handle your business making two milkshake. Or one of you will have to help the other handle their business, and then drink the milkshake on camera.
6. Afterwords you have to go to your BFFs room in the evening. Eventually you'll get the watch corn prompt. Which will end with you sleeping in their bed. You'll wake up feeling really hot and bothered. So will your BFF....
7. Afterwords you'll leave the room with your BFF following to talk about your relationship. Pick the relationship you want with them.
I suggest you go this route if you want/need money. Because if you agree to stay silent you'll get $400. You can still do this quest even if you're already in a relationship with your BFF. It's free money or you could go the snitch route. If you're a masochist who wants to be bullied, extorted, and/or forced into doing favors.

Will the "drug" system be improved in the future? I've met a few characters with the 'stoner' personality traits but so far I've only found one way to acquire weed and it's through people at the park, I don't know if there's more or maybe it's tied to the gardening system
Most likely it will be improved in the crime and punishment update on the roadmap
